Barron Collier Bridge Run
Park in public parking lot behind the Freeman House.  Run north on the
sidewalk along Barron Collier Bridge.
At the north end of the bridge and turn around and return to the Freeman
House.  

Total distance:  2.5 miles
Surface: Concrete
Lighted at night?: Yes
Comments:  Beautiful view of Charlotte Harbor the entire run, watch out for
fishermen's poles occasionally obstructing the sidewalk.
Tuesday night runs
starting at Gilchrist Park.
Freeman House to Charlotte County Historical Center
Park in public parking lot behind the Freeman House.  Head north on the
sidewalk along Barron Collier Bridge. At north end of bridge continue in grass
with the fish Cove Adventure Golf on your left.  Turn left along the south side of
Bayshore Road and pick up sidewalk along Bayshore Road.  Run through
Bayshore Live Oak Park to Charlotte County Historical Center and turn around.

Total distance:  4.6 miles
Surface: Concrete, .1 mile grass
Lighted at night?: Yes
Comments: Beautiful view of Charlotte Harbor the entire run, watch out for
fishermen's poles occasionally obstructing the sidewalk, bridge is busy with
traffic and exhaust fumes can be a little when wind is coming from the east.
The Bayshore Live Oak Park section is beautiful with sidewalks winding
throughout the park.

Fishermen's Village to the Banyan Tree via the Harborwalk
Park in the lot across the street from the tennis courts.  Head east on the
sidewalk on the north side of Retta Esplanade.  The sidewalk will wind
through Gilchrist Park.  At the Banyan Tree turn around and head back through
the park:

Comments: Very nice and easy run or walk with beautiful views of Charlotte
Harbor.
